Summer Cub Camp - Phillippo, Cannon Falls - August 5-7, 2011

 (4/28/11)  It's hard to think about Summer Camp with the possibility of snow and temperatures in the 40's, but spots will soon start filling up.  Boys who are going into year two of WEBELOS have already received information from Mark Robinson and Melissa Portz regarding their summer camp, but for next years Wolves, Bears, and WEBELOs here are the details regarding the Pack summer camping opportunity:

We've decided on the weekend of August 5-7 at Camp Phillippo near Canon Falls.  Camp usually starts around 6:00pm on Friday and ends around Noon on Sunday (more specifics as we get them).  Food service is provided at the camp and tents are also provided.  Scouts will enjoy swimming, crafts, archery, BB guns, and more.  Camp is $98 for Scouts and $98 for parents, but we are setting the price at $49 for scouts and $75 for parents.  (WEBELOS II's will receive a refund for a portion of what they have already paid).  Summer camp is designed for a parent to Scout ratio of 1:1, but they allow a 2:1 ratio so that nobody misses out on the opportunity.  There is also financial assistance available through the Council, if the budget is tight...just let me know and we can find a way.  We want as many to go as possible, so we will work through carpools and ratios as we go along.

For current bears who will be WEBELOS, there is also an additional night of camping on Sunday evening called "WEBELOS Outpost".  It will be $16 additional for a Scout and $24 for a parent.

Spots will fill up fast (my guess is within the next few weeks as summer approaches), so if you would like to attend, we need to get spots reserved quickly.  The only way we can reserve spots is with full payment.  Let me know if you are interested in attending via reply to the email and we will figure out the logistics of getting payment to the pack. 

Costs again are:
$49 for just Scout attending
$124 for Scout and parent
and for WEBELOS 1's attending extra night outpost
$65 for Scout
$164 for Scout and parent
