Hello Pack 273,
We have three events coming up in the near future, so I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the dates.
There is a Pack meeting this Monday, January 30 at the St. Peter's School Cafeteria. We will be handing out Pinewood Derby Cars for the race in March and we are hoping to utilize the gym at St. Peter's to play some Cub Scout Games/Relays. Start time is 6:30pm. Please try to have your scout wear tennis shoes for the gym on Monday evening.
We were able to get most of the Genius Kits handed out at the various Den meetings (except Den 1) over the last couple of weeks. If your son did not get his Genius Kit, we will bring them on Monday night. I hope the scouts have fun creating and I can't wait to see what the Scouts come up with! The instructions are included in each bag, but if you have any questions let me know. You are welcome to paint/color/decorate your creation however you wish. Bring the completed projects to the Blue and Gold.
Speaking of the Blue and Gold Banquet, it is only a couple weeks away. We'll have more details to you shortly, but we can tell you it is Saturday, February 11, starting at 4:30pm. We'll have some fun and food and then Dazzling Dave, "National Yo-Yo Master" will entertain us with his Yo-Yo skills.
Ice fishing/Outdoor fun is scheduled for Saturday, February 18. More details to come about this event.
