*****HELP!
Pack 273 needs your help. To continue to allow our pack to grow and our kids to enjoy we need volunteers for events. Please share your talents and show the kids the benefits of volunteerism. Contact Cubmaster Bruce or your childs Den Leader. Thank you.

Many employers encourage employees to support great causes, including Scouting--Some even match your contributions! Check out the form link below of the local companies that support Scouting. If you do plan to donate, please designate "Crow River District" Thank you to these companies and to you for all your support.
*****Pack 273 News...
PACK 273 Graduation & Campout 2012!
When: Saturday, May 19 beginning at 12:00pm until Sunday, May 20 12:00pm. Families are welcome to camp on Friday night as the campsite is already reserved. Just note that Friday Night campers are on their own for food and fun.
Where: Lake Rebecca; Sarah Creek Group Camp. You can get to the Sarah Creek Group Camp from the minimum maintenance road (East Rebecca Lake Road) that runs North/South through the park (note: you can not get there from the main park entrance). East Rebecca Lake road can be accessed from County Road 11 or from County Road 50 just before the railroad tracks in Rockford.
Who: All pack 273 Cub Scouts and their families. We encourage everyone to camp overnight, but if camping’s not your thing, please join us for the day activities, supper, and the graduation ceremony.
Cost: None! Pack 273 will pay the camping fees, main course for dinner of hot dogs and brats, and breakfast on Sunday morning. We do ask that each family provide a dish to share for the dinner. To hopefully provide a different assortment of foods please bring an item according to your Scouts current rank:
Lion Cubs & Tigers bring Desserts
Wolves bring Fruits and Vegetables
Bears bring Salads
WEBELOS bring Chips & Dips.
What else do I need to bring:
Tent(s), sleeping bags and/or blankets, warm clothes and rain gear (Be prepared!) and flashlights or lanterns.
Balls, frisbees, bicycles (with helmets), etc. for having fun. You may also want to bring your fishing pole as we'll plan on having bait available.
Lawn chairs, camera, personal hygiene items
***Water bottle and/or hot beverage mug (we will have water and other bulk refreshments but you'll need something to drink them from)
Can a Cub Scout attend without a parent or guardian? We encourage the entire family to attend and support your Cub Scout. If this isn’t possible, please talk with your Den leader to make other arrangements. For youth protection requirements, a Cub Scout can only share a tent with an adult that is their parent or guardian.
What needs to happen before the Graduation/Campout?
